Learning any language is really interesting and enjoyable. There is no question about it, if this language is English. Language club is creating this golden opportunity to learn English. It’s a true fact that speaking is the most difficult part of the language to master for many English learners. To improve speaking skills, a learner needs to be able to practise with other English learners or English speakers. The question is where learners will get this opportunity. Is it possible to do it only in the classroom? Or do they need to do something more? In many countries where English is not the first language, students practise speaking in English Language Clubs. Such a dynamic English club has been established by the help of our esteemed Principal of Bazlul Huq Khan School and College in our educational institutions. English clubs are less formal than a classroom setting. Many learners find them more fun than usual English classes. They also let learners practise English in more real-life situations. This can increase a learner’s desire to practise and learn on their own.

An English Club is a place for language learners to use English in a casual setting.  What the students of our educational institutions practise in English may not be a real life practice. Mostly they practise different contents and single skill mostly either reading or writing skill. Speaking has been a neglected skill in our educational institutions though it is theoretically articulated.  Our teachers deal with, may be transitive verbs or present perfect tense. The English teachers teach the rules, they need to practise them. When students get an opportunity to practise the skills of language beyond the classroom environment, it seems to be more realistic and the environment must be learning friendly, fearless, and full of fun. Opportunities unfold themselves before the club members to practise English and make friendships with each other. Learners’ confidence will increase when they get together for several days. They will feel more comfortable using English around people they trust and have fun with.

However, You will be enchanted to hear that the Master Trainers of the language club of Bazlul Huq Khan School and College are playing a significant role to develop this essential skill for the learners. It goes without saying that they are conducting this  very efficiently. There are three sections of this club such as Pre-Primary Section, Primary  section  and Senior Section  as well. These sections are vividly guided by the individual trainers. This course is also conducted for two days (every Friday and Saturday in a week and class duration is two hours). You are graciously invited to see and join the activities of the language club.
